Doctoral Programs

Program Objectives:

These programs are designed to equip the student for a higher level of competence in their chosen religious field, previously achieved by the foundational work normally accomplished in the Master Degree Program.

These programs lead to Religious Doctoral Degrees in the following:

  • Biblical Studies (D.B.S.)
     
  • Christian Counseling (D.C.C.)
     
  • Christian Education (D.C.Ed.)
     
  • Ministry (D.Min.)
     
  • Theology (Th.D.)
     

Program:

The research program consists of two parts:

  1. The Doctoral Project – 20 credits
     
  2. The Dissertation – 30 credits
     

Together they comprise a fifty (50) credit hour program.

The method of approach for the Dissertation is identified in the Syllabus For Doctoral Degrees.

The Project portion of the program requires the student to:

  • Independently research
     
  • Writing an evaluation of the assigned study material.
