History of Triune Biblical University

Triune Biblical University was co-founded by Dr. Leroy Mikels Th.D. (1930 - 2012) and his wife Dr. Audrey Mikels D.B.S., Litt.D. (1930 – 2017)

It was the summer of 1981, in Poulsbo Washington, when Dr. Leroy Mikels and his wife Audrey, had their vision. It was a vision to start a Bible College for adult Christians.

It was in a small and modest room of the Craft-Store that Mrs. Mikels owned and managed, that Dr. Mikels, while working on his Doctor of Theology Degree Thesis, had his vision of a Christian Counseling Center. As the vision developed, the Center gave way to Triune Bible Institute and Seminary and eight years later was named, Triune Biblical University.
